Dr. Vincent Liu

Dr. Vincent Liu is a New York State licensed physical therapist who specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries. Dr. Liu graduated and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The College of Staten Island. Dr. Liu has worked with many active professionals who work at a desk, marathon runners, strength training athletes, high school and college athletes, and also post-surgical cases such as ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy, etc.

Dr. Liu utilizes movement screening, biomechanical analyses, and ergonomic assessments to optimize movement and prevent injury. He believes that one-on-one treatment sessions are optimal to strategically curate a plan for each individual in their rehab or performance optimization journey. Dr. Liu uses an evidence-based approach where he incorporates the best available evidence along with patient values and lifestyle to optimize care. He has particular interest in utilizing blood flow restriction (BFR) training for post-surgical strengthening.

Dr. Liu is most passionate about learning root-cause medicine, health optimization, and wellness and loves to share his latest findings with patients and colleagues.

Dr. Liu is currently studying for the orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) board certification, reading orthopedic clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), taking continuing education courses such as Current Concepts of Physical Therapy, and taking advanced manual therapy courses by Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) to further enhance his clinical and orthopedic skillset.
